Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for beverage operations on the casino floor. This includes scheduling, hiring & training staff. Responsible for inventory management and controlling costs. Must further ensure 4-Diamond service to every guest and ensuring that outlets are being regularly cleaned/kept up.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Responsible for ensuring the utmost in service delivery; meeting 4-diamond expectations at all times.
* Must hire/schedule & train staff in guest service and in Beverage operating procedures.
* Ensure that casino floor maintained at a high level or cleanliness and sanitation.
* Responsible for inventory management.
* Cash handling, supervision and checking procedures.
* Setting standard of health and hygiene and service delivery.
* Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervisory authority over Beverage Department – specifically over casino floor; responsible for managing through multiple supervisors.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of all phases of beverage administration, cost control, and familiarity of all beverage services. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to lead and effectively direct others. Must be competent with various PC based software programs. Knowledge of methods, principles and practices of Food and Beverage. Knowledge of general office practices and procedures and operating standard office equipment. Ability to exercise independent judgment. Ability to develop and maintain a pleasant and effective working relationship with guests and staff.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma. Three (3) to five (5) years supervisory experience in an F&B establishment, preferably with beverage emphasis. Technical experience in drink preparation and service.
