Job Description JOB SUMMARY
To oversee all Food and Beverage outlets to include hiring of management staff, implementing new menus, controlling food, beverage and labor costs, guide in purchasing of new equipment, promotions, specials and sanitation. Responsible for P&L, budgets, reports and other duties as determined by the General Manager.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Day-to-day operations to include labor reports, sales analysis, meeting with key staff and vendors, new policies and procedures when needed.
Working on special function projects to include promotions, training packets, and monitoring of outlets and their staff.
Implement new menus, controlling food, beverage and labor costs.
Purchasing of new equipment as needed.
Supervises and directs through subordinate managers and supervisors hiring, performance evaluations, training and disciplinary actions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to lead and effectively direct others. Must be competent with various PC based software programs. Knowledge of methods, principles and practices of Food and Beverage. Knowledge of general office practices and procedures and operating standard office equipment. Ability to exercise independent judgment. Ability to develop and maintain a pleasant and effective working relationship with guests and staff.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma. Minimum five (5) years high-volume Casino-Resort Food and Beverage Management. Casino-Resort experience strongly preferred.
