Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
JOB SUMMARY
Supervise, train, hire and manage Pool and Spa Staff (Spa Supervisor, Fitness Attendants, Pool Supervisor, Spa Receptionists, Therapists, Salon, Lifeguards and Spa Attendants.)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Establish job responsibilities, training and control costs within the department for the Morongo Casino Resort and Spa.
* Ensure that both the pool & spa departments are delivering 4-Diamond levels of service.
* Oversee daily operation of spa and pool areas.
* Inventory towels, retail & professional products. Order products as needed.
* Assist in creating innovative packages to sell groups focusing on midweek business, while increasing overall business in the spa and salon.
* Communicate to the Director of Hotel Operations information and statistics pertinent to planning and executing plans to maximize revenue while increasing guest utilization.
* Supervise/mentor/develop Pool and Spa team. Schedule staff to meet operational needs.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
QUALIFICATIONS
Computer skills, excellent verbal and written skills. In-depth knowledge of Spa operations. Skilled in ARTS, scheduling, ordering, reservations. Team leader and innovator relating. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of classified information. Ability to tactfully and diplomatically deal with the public and staff. Must possess excellent business sense and high professional ethics. Must possess a high regard for customer service and employee relations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree in related field preferred (or equivalent work experience providing necessary background for the position). Minimum 5 years experience in Spa Management and operations. Casino experience preferred but not required.
