Description
We are looking for a dynamic, hands-on, experienced individual to join the team at the Domain Hotel as General Manager. This individual is responsible for maximizing the return on investment to the owner of the hotel by achieving the objectives of the annual business plan and annual strategic initiatives in guest service, work climate and profitability. Additionally, the General Manager is responsible to provide the highest quality guest service and product, a positive work environment for all employees and maintaining programs vital to the company culture.
The Domain Hotel is a unique Joie de Vivre boutique hotel. Joie de Vivre Hotels is California's largest boutique hotel company. Joie de Vivre's brand personality has a lot in common with the California lifestyle experience: fresh, inventive, casual, and grass roots oriented. Given its growth throughout the state, Joie de Vivre Hotels is becoming the hotel brand synonymous with the California travel experience.

The ideal candidate must have:
- 3 - 5 years previous experience as a Hotel General Manager, preferably in a boutique enviornment
- Entrepreneurial, Sales and Marketing and Revenue Management Savvy. Ability to drive revenue and service groups market segment. Knowledge of the Silicon Valley market is desired.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals.
- Knowledge of F&B and the meetings market - Ability to manage groups and meetings with limited F&B
- Strong Financial Aptitude - Must have a strong understanding of cost control measures.
- Proven ability to effectively manage department heads and hourly employees.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Proven solid and stable owner relationships.
