Job Description
Position Summary: This Mandalay is a Four Diamond, Four Star hotel is looking for an outgoing Sales Manager to develop the Midwest and West Coast Market concentrating on the solicitation of new and repeat business. To Merchandise as skillfully as possible the guest rooms and function space or any other outlet to maximize revenue potential for the hotel and to ensure that the customer has the best possible meeting experience. Achieve monthly room night goals, develop and implement sales action plans, maintain positive interdepartmental communications and to complete special projects as assigned by the Director of Marketing and Director of Sales. Requirements The ideal candidate will actively participate in industry related organizations. Strong Sale background. Must have strong knowledge of Sales techniques. Consistently making cold calls. Aggressively pursue new accounts. Participate in local community to develope business. Attend trade shows and participate in weekly sales blitzes. Must have excellent phone skills. Delphi skills preferred. At least 2 consecutive years as a Sales Manager in a upscale hotel. EOE/Drug Free Workplace/MFDV
